A thought in the air

ネパールの玄関口となるカトマンズにはあと2時間ほどで到着するようです。
今、こうして飛行機の中をみると、お客さんは圧倒的に白人が多いようです。

話を聞いてみると、トレッキングにやってきた人が多いようで、少なくとも一人でふらりとやってきたアジアンテーストな客は私だけのようです。

行き先はアジアの核心なのか、はたまた作られた桃源郷なのか、確かめてみたくなってきました。

In the cabin, I'm now taking lunch time to wait for the arrival at Kathmandu in 2 hours. I got strangeness that most of the passengers are western persons. It seems that I am only the Asian guy to take a personal travel. What is happening? Nepal is the heart of Asia or some artificial icon of Asian culture for western people? I think I have a right to think because I was grown up in the Asian monsoon.

P.S.)
When I went to Hong Kong and Taipei last February, I felt my soul was immersed into the monsoon atmosphere.
